Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

New-family Registration Fee: There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee for all families new to Music Together Tri-Cities. This is a one-time fee for all families enrolled in our center.

Refund Policy: Enrolled families who withdraw will receive a full refund of tuition paid, minus a $25.00 administration fee and the non-refundable $20.00 registration fee. Once classes have begun, no refunds of tuition will be paid, except on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of the center director.

Sickness and Makeups: The health and safety of our community is our #1 concern. Anyone exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms (cough, runny nose, fever, diarrhea, etc.) must remain home from class. It is the caregiver's responsibility to do a quick health assessment before class each week. Teachers may ask participants to leave class and schedule a makeup if they see someone exhibiting concerning symptoms. We offer unlimited makeup classes during the semester, depending upon availability. Makeup classes are not guaranteed, and are filled on a first come first serve basis each semester. Makeup classes do not carry over to subsequent semesters.

Extreme Weather or Unexpected Interruption of Classes: We try our very best to always hold our regularly scheduled classes, but on occasion we must cancel for safety or health-related reasons. In the event of natural disaster or community crisis requiring the closure of our center, we will make every attempt to offer makeup classes, but will not refund classes that are canceled for reasons beyond our control. Music Together Tri-Cities will reschedule up to two weeks worth of class cancellations due to weather per semester. After that, families are able to utilize the Makeup Scheduler and schedule their own makeups in other available classes.

Teacher Illness: If a teacher is sick and unable to hold class as usual, one of three options will occur: (1) a sub will be provided, (2) class will be rescheduled, though they may not be on your regularly scheduled class day, or (3) class will be held via Zoom.

Injuries: Parents, legal guardians of minor students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained at Music Together Tri-Cities venues resulting from normal class activity, or any other activity conducted by families before, during, or after class time.

Media Release: Music Together Tri-Cities and its business affiliates are hereby granted permission to take photographs and audio-visual recordings of the students in classes and other related events to use in brochurs, websites, social media, advertisements and other promotional materials that Music Together Tri-Cities creates. Permission is also hereby granted for Music Together Tri-Cities to copyright such photographs in its name. Families may opt out at any time by emailing [email protected]

Participation: There is no better model for your child than you, the grownup who loves them. Our children learn to be who they are by watching us do what we do. And so it goes with music learning. If a child sees his parent joyfully participating in music making, they will be motivated to do the same. Please, sing, dance, drum, and play with us!
